Mahr at the EMO 2011: Newest metrology for tool manufacturers and users, many product premieres Mahr offers users and manufacturers of precision tools modern solutions for quality assurance at the EMO 2011. The focus of Mahr’s presence at the trade show is on measuring systems for use directly in production, with fast, precise measuring results that assure the quality of tools and reduce expensive scrap. Users and manufacturers of precision tools increasingly test the quality of tools in production. „For this purpose, Mahr offers measuring technologies that work exactly even in the rough production environment”, says Nadeem Sawani, Head of European Sales at Mahr. „The modern measuring systems from Mahr also deliver reliable measuring results despite dust and temperature deviations and thus effectively assure the precision of the work pieces.” The Göttingen application specialist is introducing new pioneering measuring systems in the year of its 150th company anniversary. For example, the measuring machine „MarForm MMQ 400“ now combines form, contour and roughness measurements in only one setting, accelerating the entire measuring process. The optical measuring station „MarVision TM 500“ offers the advantages that are important when measuring standard tools: fast measurements, no programming and nevertheless exact results. The exhibited tool presetter „MarPreset 1800“ has been designed for users of tools. With the most modern camera technology and solid cast construction, it offers the complete solution for tool measurements and inspection. The surface measuring station „MarSurf XR 20“ celebrates its exhibition premiere with the innovative and compact touch PC, the touch screen monitor and computer in one unit.
