Great interest shown in Mahr, many visitors with specific projects, strong interest from abroad

This year’s EMO in Hanover has become the most successful presentation at this world fair so far: The application specialist for metrology gained many new customers and was visited by many customers and prospective customers with specific projects. There was a significant increase in demand from China, India and Russia.

“This year’s EMO was for us the best EMO ever. Metrology plays a bigger role here than in previous years – from which we benefit”, said Nadeem Sawani, sales manager for Europe at Mahr. “Forty percent of the visitors at the Mahr booth came from abroad. We have noted an increasing demand, especially from China, India and Russia.”Modern solutions for quality assurance were presented by Mahr to users and manufacturers of precision tools. Mahr exhibited the latest measuring systems that operate directly at the production site in particular, quickly delivering precise measuring results despite dust and temperature deviations and thereby assuring the quality of the tools and reducing expensive scrap.

Many EMO visitors came to the Mahr exhibition booth with concrete projects. Proof that Mahr has further expanded its importance as an application and thus solution specialist for production metrology. “Approximately 70 percent of all projects we have taken on are new“, sales manager Nadeem Sawani reports. “We are also happy about numerous new customers.”
