Mahr dial gages with reference system and radio system for fast and uncomplicated use in quality assurance

A new generation of dial gages offers more measuring comfort. The application specialist Mahr has now brought gages onto the market that thanks to the patented reference system must no longer be set to zero and send data by radio to the computer. This means in practice: fast measurements, more freedom of movement and easier documentation of measurement data.

The dial gages from Mahr are entering a new era: The application specialist has further developed its range of "MarCator" dial gages with the most advanced technology. Many gages are now equipped with the patented reference system. This innovative system greatly simplifies measuring in practice. The user must only set the zero position once and stores it for further measurements. This accelerates quality assurance: The gage is ready for measurement after pressing the ON button or by moving the measuring spindle.

At the same time, Mahr has also introduced the integrated radio system i-wi (integrated wireless). It gives the user greater freedom of movement; cables no longer are in the way when measuring or on or at the machine or on large workpieces but the user can move freely. The wireless connection also sim-plifies the collection and documentation of measurement data. They are sent by the dial gage on an i-stick, which is inserted like a small memory stick in the USB port of your computer. With the radio system, measuring data can be integrated directly and automatically in MS-Excel or any Windows program. With the i-wi system, it is possible to connect up to 8 dial gages per i-stick receiver. The transmitter is integrated directly into the gage, is energy efficient and requires no separate battery.
