Processing of Application Data


By applying to a company of the Mahr Group, you provide the company with your personal data for the job search purposes. Your data is stored and processed on the systems of our software partner.

Data protection and confidentiality

Privacy is important to us. The Mahr Group and software partner Haufe-umantis AG have taken the necessary organizational and technical measures to ensure the confidentiality of your application. All employees of the human resources department as well as of our software partner are obliged to maintain secrecy about personal data as part of their employment contract. An automatically activated 128-bit encryption ensures secure transmission of your data. Data processing takes into account the general data security standards of the state of the art of technology.

Use of your personal data

During the application process, the usual correspondence data such as postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers are stored in the applicant database in addition to salutation, name and first name. Application documents such as letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, vocational, training and work certificates are also recorded.
This data will only be stored, evaluated, processed or forwarded internally as part of your application. They are only accessible to employees of the Human Resources Department and the persons of the Mahr Group responsible for the selection process. Your data will never be shared with companies or individuals outside the group or used for any other purpose.
The data may be processed for statistical purposes (e.g., reporting). The data is anonymized so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons.

Storage and deletion of data

If you start a job at a company of the Mahr Group, your personal data, or at most an excerpt thereof, will be added to your personal file.
If you have applied but have received a negative decision, your details will be stored for a maximum of 3 months after completing the application process and then deleted (profile and application). There is no notification about the deletion of the data.
If you have applied, but we are unable to offer you a suitable position at this time, we reserve the right to assign your application to a talent pool. In this case you will receive a message for your information. If you do not agree or are no longer interested, please send us a message. We will delete your data immediately. If your application is assigned to a talent pool, the data is stored for a maximum of 12 months and then deleted.
